Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using the Zoju platform. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using Zoju, you agree to comply with this policy. Zoju reserves the right to update this AUP at any time; material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
2. Intended Use
Zoju is designed for personal English exam preparation. You may use the platform to practise reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, review your scores and feedback, and track your progress over time. Each account is for individual use only.
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not: (a) use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or spiders to access, extract, or collect content from the platform; (b) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform or its AI systems; (c) share, transfer, or allow others to use your account credentials; (d) create multiple free accounts to circumvent usage limits (including using disposable email addresses or different devices); (e) use any Zoju content — including practice materials, AI-generated feedback, scoring data, or answer keys — as training, fine-tuning, evaluation, or retrieval data for any artificial intelligence or machine learning system; (f) redistribute, resell, republish, or publicly display Zoju content in any form without prior written permission; (g) submit content that is offensive, threatening, defamatory, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property rights; (h) attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the platform's infrastructure; (i) use the platform for any purpose other than personal exam preparation; or (j) assist or encourage any other person to do any of the above.
4. AI System Restrictions
Zoju's AI-powered scoring and feedback systems are proprietary. You may not: (a) attempt to extract, replicate, or reverse-engineer the scoring logic, rubrics, or prompt templates used by the AI; (b) systematically submit content designed to probe, test, or map the behaviour of the AI systems for purposes unrelated to your own exam preparation; or (c) use the platform's AI outputs to build, train, or improve competing products or services.
5. Content Standards
When submitting writing or speaking responses on the platform, you must ensure your content does not: (a) contain hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence; (b) include sexually explicit material; (c) infringe on any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights; (d) contain personal information of third parties without their consent; or (e) constitute spam or unsolicited advertising. Zoju's AI systems process your submissions for scoring purposes only. However, we reserve the right to review and remove content that violates these standards.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in: (a) a warning sent to your registered email address; (b) temporary suspension of your account; (c) permanent termination of your account; or (d) legal action, including civil proceedings to recover damages. The severity of enforcement depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Serious violations (such as automated scraping or AI training data extraction) may result in immediate termination without prior warning.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any activity that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to hello@zoju.app. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
